saṁsāra-dāvānala-līḍha-loka-trāṇāya kāruṇya-ghanāghanatvam / prāptasya kalyāṇa-guṇārṇavasya vande guroḥ śrī-caraṇāravindam
"I bow to the lotus feet of the spiritual master, who, like a cloud pouring rain on a forest fire, delivers the world from the blazing fire of material existence."
Meaning
Eight prayers to the spiritual master by Vishvanatha Chakravarti Thakura. Each verse describes the genuine guru — absorbed in chanting the holy names, serving the Deities and immersed in the love of Radha and Krishna — and ends with "vande guroh sri-caranaravindam." The eighth verse gives the heart of it: by the mercy of the guru one receives the mercy of Krishna. It is sung every morning at mangala-arati.
