इक ओंकार सति नामु करता पुरखु निरभउ निरवैरु अकाल मूरति अजूनी सैभं गुर प्रसादि ॥
ik oṅkār sati nāmu karatā purakhu nirabhau niravairu akāla mūrati ajūnī saibhaṅ gura prasādi
"One Creator; His Name is Truth; the Creator of all, without fear and without enmity, timeless, unborn, self-existent; known by the Guru's grace."
Meaning
The Mul Mantar is the opening of Guru Nanak's Japji Sahib, the foundation of Sikh teaching on the one God. The original is in Gurmukhi script; a Devanagari transliteration is given here. It belongs to the Sikh tradition.
