ॐ अज्ञानतिमिरान्धस्य ज्ञानाञ्जनशलाकया । चक्षुरुन्मीलितं येन तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नमः ॥
oṁ ajñāna-timirāndhasya jñānāñjana-śalākayā / cakṣur unmīlitaṁ yena tasmai śrī-gurave namaḥ
"I offer my obeisances to my spiritual master, who opened my eyes, blinded by the darkness of ignorance, with the torchlight of knowledge."
Meaning
Pranamas are short prayers of obeisance that open the morning programme: to the spiritual master, Srila Prabhupada, the Vaishnavas, Sri Chaitanya and the Pancha-tattva, Radha and Krishna. The first is the guru-pranama: the knowledge that opens one's eyes comes from the teacher.
