श्रीगुरु चरन सरोज रज निज मनु मुकुरु सुधारि । बरनउँ रघुबर बिमल जसु जो दायकु फल चारि ॥
śrī-guru carana saroja raja nija manu mukuru sudhāri / baranaũ raghubara bimala jasu jo dāyaku phala cāri
"Cleansing the mirror of my mind with the dust of my guru's lotus feet, I sing the pure glory of the best of the Raghus, Lord Rama, which bestows the four fruits of life."
Meaning
Forty verses by the poet-saint Tulsidas glorifying Hanuman, the great devotee of Lord Rama. Hanuman is the model of selfless service to God — Vaishnavas learn from him loyalty and fearlessness in service. The language is Awadhi.
