Śrī Nṛsiṁha-praṇāma
Featured in 1 track
Translation
"I bow to Lord Narasimha, who gives joy to Prahlada and whose nails are like chisels on the stone-like chest of Hiranyakashipu."
Meaning
Prayers to Nrisimhadeva, the Lord in His half-man, half-lion form who appeared to protect the child devotee Prahlada. "Nrisimha is here and there; wherever I go, Nrisimha is there — outside and in the heart" — the devotee takes shelter of Him. Temples sing them after arati, asking protection from obstacles on the path of bhakti.
