Translation
"I bow to the eternal linga of Sadashiva, worshipped by Brahma, Vishnu and the gods — pure, radiant, destroying the sorrows of birth."
Meaning
Eight verses glorifying the Shiva-linga, the emblem of Lord Shiva; each ends with "tat pranamami sadashiva-lingam." It is a hymn of the Shaiva tradition; Gaudiya Vaishnavas honour Shiva as the greatest Vaishnava (Bhagavatam 12.13.16).
