Translation

"O Keshava, Lord of the universe, Hari, who took the form of a fish — all glories to You! You easily saved the Vedas in the waters of devastation."

Meaning

The Dashavatara-stotra of Jayadeva Gosvami from the Gita-govinda — praise of Krishna's ten incarnations, from the Fish to Kalki; the refrain "jaya jagadisha hare" means "glory to the Lord of the universe, Hari." Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu especially loved the Gita-govinda; temples sing these verses on the appearance days of the incarnations.
